Why Doesn't Anybody Tell Me These Things?

Apparently there is a 5k race being held this weekend less than a qtr mile from where I live.

The 9th Annual Spring Light 5k Walk/Run
Spring Grove Cemetery
Sunday, August 10, 2008 at 8:30 am.

Looks like my first attempt at 5k is this Sunday.
